Seneca Park Zoo holding first annual Apples, Ales & Tails

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Seneca Park Zoo is holding its first annual Apples, Ales & Tails event in September.

The “cider and beer tasting safari” will feature tasting stations throughout the zoo’s Africa and Animals of the Savanna regions.

There will be drinks from more than 15 breweries and cider makers, as well as food, entertainment and a raffle.

The funds raised will support the zoo’s education and conservation programs as well as reforestation efforts and lemur conservation in Madagascar.

The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.
