ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — An occupied Grand Avenue home was struck by bullets Tuesday evening.

Police say that the call came in around 5:30 p.m. for the report of gunshots heard in the upper 300 block of Grand Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located the individual whose home was shot up and verified that two adults and one child were inside—all nearly missed by the gunfire targeted at the front door.

Rochester Police Department Captain Steven Swetman said that "This is another example of reckless disregard for people, life, and property. Thankfully no one was shot or killed."
