ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — Shots were fired into a home with five children inside on Tuesday night, Rochester Police Department said.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 10:45 p.m. and found an occupied home on the 200 block of Michigan Street hit with gunfire. None of the five children, the youngest being 3, or the two adults in the home were injured.
There are no suspects in custody and RPD Capt. Ryan Tauriello called the shooting a senseless crime. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
Last Friday, gunfire hit a home on Maria Street, striking the air mattress a 14-year-old slept on. Gunfire also hit a home on Augustine Street the same morning.
