Singletary campaign sign vandalized

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC) – A campaign sign for La’Ron Singletary was vandalized. The former Rochester Police Chief is running for New York’s 25th Congressional District as a Republican. The poster near the Southtown Plaza in Henrietta was sprayed with "I love to cover up murder."

Singletary was the chief during the in-custody death of Daniel Prude. A report has been filed with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
