Snow totals: How much did you get?

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The flakes starting flying just after midnight Thursday morning, and they haven’t stopped yet! It has been a long duration, high impact snow storm, closing many schools and businesses.

The First Alert Weather Team called for a foot of fresh snow, plus or minus a few inches, and so far that is what we’ve seen. In general, there weren’t really any big "winners or losers" when it comes to accumulation, rather an area-wide blanket of snow for everyone. Towns north of Rochester may end up with the highest amounts, due to some enhancement from Lake Ontario.

We may still see a few more inches of snow before this event completely winds down late Friday into early Saturday, but here is a complete list of snowfall totals so far from the National Weather Service
