PALMYRA, N.Y. (WHEC) — Deputies in Ontario County report they’ve helped catch two suspects and they’re looking for another one for the killing of a six-year-old boy in South Carolina.

The victim died in a drive-by shooting in Orangeburg County South Carolina two weeks ago.

On Friday, deputies got a tip the shooter’s car might be in the area and that it may have been involved in an incident in Geneva.

Wayne County deputies spotted the car in Palmyra, leading them to the arrest of the 17-year-old who was driving it, as well as another man.

They’re both charged with murder.

The search is still on for a third suspect.
