Starbucks boosts pay for US workers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Starbucks is giving workers a raise as restaurants nationwide struggle to find enough people to serve customers

The company announced workers with at least two years of employment could get up to a 5% raise, and those with at least five years could get a 10% pay hike in late January.

Average pay will range between $15 and $23 an hour by next summer. Additionally, Starbucks upped its pay for new employee referrals.
