State: Finger Lakes COVID-19 positive test rate above 4.4%
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Here is Governor Hochul’s Sunday update on New York State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The positive test rate is 3.03% of the 148,145 test results reported.
The 7-day average positive test rate increased slightly to 3.31%.
27 more people in New York State healthcare facilities died from the coronavirus.
42,673 vaccines were administered, bringing the total vaccine doses in the state to 23,963,992.
The Finger Lakes region data represents Monroe County and nine other area counties. The COVID-19 positive test rate for the past four days was as follows: Wednesday, 4.47%; Thursday, 4.37%; Friday, 4.50%; Saturday 4.41%.
The other counties in the region include Ontario, Livingston, Wayne, Yates, Seneca, Steuben, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming.
