State Street Reconstruction Project expected to cause traffic delays

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The State Street Reconstruction Project is set to begin on Tuesday and it’s expected to impact traffic.

The city expects there to be a snarl from East Main Street all the way to the Inner Loop, though the road will still be open to pedestrians and drivers.

Crews will be working on the water main, drainage, sidewalks, traffic signals and more.
