Steuben County man charged with making ‘terroristic threat’

ADDISON, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office has accused an Addison man with threatening to kill police and another person.

Deputies have charged 33-year-old James Luce with making a terroristic threat, criminal mischief (3rd), criminal possession of a weapon (4th) and obstruction of governmental administration.

Deputies say on March 4th, they were responding to a domestic disturbance call on William Street when Luce threatened police and a civilian with death. They say Luce is a convicted felon and was in possession of a shotgun.

He was arraigned on the charges and released.
