ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — "United and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County" is partnering with community leaders and employers to bring more job opportunities to the area.
The Stop the Violence Job Fair is scheduled for March 28 and March 29.
Organizers say it will be a one-stop job, educational and health fair.
Employers like Barbara Groszewski with First Student told News10NBC Thursday night they have a lot of positions to fill.
"The bus driver shortage is still in full swing and we’re looking to hire as many drivers and bus attendants as we can," Groszewski said. "And it’s a great way to help the community and being a bus attendant is a great way to mentor some of these children."
The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday, March 28 and March 29.
It’s being held at the Hyatt Regency Rochester Downtown. Click here for more information.
