ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A “Stop the Violence” job fair was held on Monday and is scheduled to be held again Tuesday.

Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County partnered with county and faith leaders, as well as police agencies.

The two-day event will be an opportunity for people to talk with local businesses, learn more about educational opportunities, and it will also be a wellness fair.

"The good part about us doing with we’re doing is we’re letting the public and the community know that there are people who care and they’re trying to bring these opportunities to them to make it a little easier," said organizer Clay Harris.

If you missed it Monday, it will be back Tuesday at the Holiday Inn on State Street in Rochester from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
