SUNY Brockport COVID testing site opens Thursday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It’s one of 10 new SUNY COVID testing sites that opened this week starting on Tuesday. Two of them are in the Rochester area.

For people living south of the City of Rochester, the SUNY Geneseo Community Testing Site opened January 11 inside Sturges Hall. You can make an appointment by clicking here. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On January 13, the SUNY Brockport Testing Site opened at Mortimer Hall. You can make an appointment by clicking here. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. It’s also not the traditional nasal swab test. Rather, it tests your saliva for COVID.

Each testing site is able to make 225 appointments each day as well as up to 50 walk-ins.
