Teen dies after ski accident at Bristol Mountain

SOUTH BRISTOL, N.Y. (WHEC) — The teenager who was seriously hurt following a skiing accident at Bristol Mountain on Monday passed away from his injuries Wednesday morning.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says the 15-year-old boy was named Christian Cuomo and was from the Syracuse area. He went over a ski jump and crash-landed face first.
He was airlifted to Strong Memorial hospital but didn’t make it.
Authorities said he was wearing a helmet.
Cuomo’s school, Christian Brothers Academy, offered this post on Thursday.
