Teen is in guarded but stable condition in hospital after being accidentally shot with BB gun

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Hospital staff said a 13-year-old is in "guarded but stable" condition after he was accidentally shot in the upper body with a BB gun on Thursday morning.
Rochester police said two children were playing when the BB gun accidentally went off. Police responded to the 200 block of Fulton Ave for the medical emergency just after midnight.
An ambulance took the child to Strong Hospital to treat his life-threatening injuries. RPD announced around 12: 50 p.m. that the teen is in stable condition.
