ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – One of three people from Rochester who kidnaped a postal worker will be sentenced Friday.
The crime happened back in November 2019. Mark Rogers and Joseph Way confronted the mail carrier about $70,000 worth of cocaine missing from a package she delivered.
Police say they pushed the woman into a car driven by Tashara Levans and threatened to shoot her and her children if she didn’t give up the drugs.
She was eventually released. All three defendants pleaded guilty. Levans will be sentenced at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
