Traffic Alert: Lane and ramp closures planned along I-390 in Greece this week

GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — Lane and ramp closures are continuing along I-390 in Greece this week as the Department of Transportation (DOT) works on preventative maintenance projects.

This week, the left lane along State Route 390 northbound will be closed as well as the entrance ramp from Latta Road to State Route 390 northbound, beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Drivers can use the posted detour from Latta Road to Dewey Avenue to the Lake Ontario State Parkway instead.

Then, beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, the left lane along State Route 390 southbound will be closed and traffic will be shifted onto the shoulder.

The DOT is advising drivers to expect delays, and reminding them that speeding fines are doubled in work zones.
