Troopers: Missing Newark man found deceased

NEWARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — New York State Police say the missing Newark man who was last seen at the TOPS Plaza in Clifton Springs was found deceased.
When troopers announced Roy “RJ” Vandemortel, 30, was missing, he was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 30.
Troopers say the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Monday found his remains in a wooded area near where he was last seen.
The investigation is still ongoing.
