ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police said two people are in the hospital after a shooting on Joseph Avenue.

Rochester police found out about the 29-year-old and 31-year-old with gunshot wounds when they were at Rochester General working on an unrelated call around 1:15 a.m. Both men are expected to survive.

An investigation led police to Joseph Avenue near Rauber Street, where they located the scene of the shooting.
