ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The University of Rochester has made specifications for the type of mask you must wear to see an RPO performance at the Eastman Theatre.
They say the revision is in response to the ineffectiveness of cloth masks against the spread of the Omicron variant.
Now, you must wear either a surgical, KN95, or N95 mask to be able to enter a RPO performance venue. There will be an extra supply of masks available as needed.
You will not be able to enter with a cloth mask, face shield, bandana, neck gator, or a mask with a valve.
Once inside, people must wear masks at all times and throughout the show.
