ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — The University of Rochester is putting its booster mandate for all university students, faculty, and staff, including at the University of Rochester Medical Center, on hold indefinitely.
This follows New York State’s announcement that it will not be enforcing its booster requirement for healthcare workers until further notice.

The U of R said it’s following suit and is still encouraging anyone who is eligible to get their booster.
The university and URMC are still requiring that students, faculty, and staff be fully vaccinated unless they’ve been granted an exemption.
