U of R School of Nursing unveils state-of-the-art addition

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The University of Rochester School of Nursing Friday unveiled its new state-of-the-art $15 million addition to Helen Wood Hall.
The goal is to provide students with more opportunities to collaborate and simulate clinical experiences.
The project added an additional three stories and 26,000 square feet above the Loretta Ford Education Wing.
It includes a 20-bed skills lab furnished with the same equipment students will find in a hospital setting, four labs with human simulation mannequins, two extended reality rooms featuring alternate and virtual reality technology and much more.
