Uber launching ‘Uber Explore’ feature, New York part of initial drop

NEW YORK, N.Y., (WHEC) — On Tuesday, Uber announced it will be launching a new feature designed to help customers book at events and locations while simultaneously paired with the Uber app.
Uber Explore will be an in-app feature where customers and book dinner restaurants, live events, and more. The service is only available in 14 U.S. cities and regions to start, and that includes all of metropolitan and upstate New York.
As an incentive, eligible riders in participating locations can book recommended venues and experiences and get a 15% discount on their Uber ride there.
