United Way of Greater Rochester opens Day of Caring volunteer registration

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — United Way of Greater Rochester officially opened volunteer registration for its upcoming Day of Caring this spring.

More than 100 volunteers have already registered to help local not-for-profits.

That could mean painting, raking or even planting a garden

For the first time ever, the Day of Caring is scheduled for the same day across Monroe, Livingston, Genesee, Wyoming, Wayne and Ontario counties: Thursday, May 19.
