VIDEO: Viewer dashcam catches tree falling onto road in Penfield

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) – A Rochester man came within just a few feet from a falling tree at a busy intersection in Penfield Saturday evening, and he caught it all on his dash camera.

In a video posted to YouTube, and shared with News10NBC, Nick Rozanov can be seen heading down Scribner Road near the intersection at Atlantic Avenue when he says he saw wires overhead and decided to stop his car. As he does, you can see the tree fall down across the road.

Howling winds Saturday afternoon and evening left tens of thousands of you without power, and caused damage across the area.

"We guess it’s not our time," Rozanov posted in the comment.

He added the wires were sparking.
