WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Webster Police are looking into a series of stolen items from cars parked in driveways, including a car that was stolen.

In connection to the incidents, police on Thursday released a video that appears to show a group of people running out of a car, and up to cars in a driveway to check if the vehicles were unlocked. WPD says the thefts happened in multiple neighborhoods overnight Wednesday.

Police released the video as a reminder for people to not leave their cars unlocked. Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call 911.
