WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WHEC) — The warm, wet weather led to some wild ice jams in Cazenovia Creek in the Buffalo area.

Though they’re interesting to look at, they create a big flooding risk, and moderate to minor flooding is forecast as the creek crests Friday morning.

The City of Buffalo’s Department of Public Works says a very cold January created lots of ice, some of which measured as thick as 10 inches.
