Wayne County distributes over 25,000 COVID-19 test kits

WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wayne County handed out more than 25,000 home COVID-19 test kits Saturday morning.

The tests were distributed at the Walworth Town Hall at 3600 Lorraine Dr. in Macedon, the Fairville Fire Department at 2963 Rt. 88 N in Newark, the Lyons School Transportation Center at 70 Old Clyde Rd. and the North Rose-Wolcott High School at 11631 Salter-Colvin Rd.

All four sites ran from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Pre-registration is required and can be done online, or by phone at 315-946-5624 or 315-946-4881 for those without internet access.

Proof of Wayne County residence will be required at the events.
