Welcome to the Hall of Fame! Premier Lacrosse League unveils inaugural class
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Plenty of players with Rochester ties made it to the PLL’s first ever Hall of Fame class.
11 former players were voted to the PLL’s first Hall of Fame class. The players all competed in the MLL, which is the former name of the now joint PLL which expanded in 2021.
Of the 11, seven had distinct ties to Rochester.
Brian Dougherty, Casey Powell, John Grant Jr., Mark Millon, and Matt Striebel all played for the Rochester Rattlers during their careers. Paul Cantabene never played for the Rattlers, but was born in Rochester and went to Irondequoit High School.
