Wilmot Cancer Institute holding Warrior Walk this weekend
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — This weekend UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute is holding its Wilmot Warrior Walk and one team raising money for cancer research did their walk Wednesday night.
The ninth annual event is also raising money for the Judy DiMarzo Cancer Survivorship Program.
Wilmot is the largest organization performing cancer research in the Rochester region.
The walk is virtual this year, so teams are taking off at their leisure.
The team “STEEL Lillies 2” has already raised $8,000 in memory of Tiffany Lill, who died from sarcoma.
If you would like to participate in the Wilmot Warrior Walk, registration is $35 per person. Click here to register.
