Woman dies in home explosion near Buffalo

LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WHEC/WGRZ) — A 92-year-old woman is dead after a home explosion near Buffalo Tuesday morning, WGRZ in Buffalo reports.
Crews were called to the home in Lackawanna just after 7 a.m.
Police confirmed to WGRZ there was some sort of explosion at the home. At least seven homes were damaged by the explosion and hundreds were left without power.
Crews do not believe anyone else was inside the home that exploded at the time.
Investigators have not yet said what caused the explosion.
