MACEDON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A person had to be airlifted to the hospital after New York State Police say a tractor-trailer blew threw a stop sign in Macedon Monday morning.
It happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Macedon Center Road and Walworth Road.
Troopers say the woman who was driving the passenger vehicle that was hit was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight with serious injuries, and that the tractor-trailer driver was treated at the scene and has cooperated with their investigation.
The truck driver was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign, but the investigation is still underway.
