Woman shot, in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The 29-year-old women was shot at least once in the upper body.
The RPD responded to the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue at about 7:12 p.m. The woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is currently ongoing but RPD says there is no danger to the general public.
Traffic at the scene is now cleared.
People are asked to call 911 with any information regarding the incident.
