ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Another vaccine mandate has been set at the University of Rochester, this time it is for all faculty and staff.
In a letter issued Thursday, the UofR announced its staff will be required to get at least one dose by Sept.27. Employees are not getting the option for weekly testing if they chose not to get vaccinated.
It follows the same measure outlined for students back in April.
While testing won’t be an option, the university says it will make exemptions, much like it did for its students.
Classes began Wednesday.
