Dog dies in house fire in Gates, two people inside made it out

GATES, N.Y. — Fire crews from multiple departments responded to a house fire in Gates around 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews say two people inside the home made it out. One of them went to the hospital. Crews say a dog inside the house died from that fire. No firefighters were injured.
