Driver dies after car crashes into tree in Mendon

MENDON, N.Y. — A driver is dead after a single-car crash in Mendon on Sunday. The crash happened around Pittsford-Mendon Center Road and Topspin Drive.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the car crashed into a tree. The crash closed that intersection for a few hours but it’s back open on Monday morning. Deputies have not released the driver’s name as of yet.
