Man, 54, injured in shooting on Aab Street on city’s northwest side

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after a 54-year-old man was injured in a shooting Friday morning on Aab Street off Otis Street, on the city’s northwest side.

Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. and found the man suffering from a lower-body gunshot wound. An ambulance took him to Strong Hospital and he is expected to survive.

RPD is asking anyone with information to call 911.
