Man hospitalized after shooting on Campbell Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 36, is hospitalized after a shooting on Campbell Street near Child Street on Tuesday night. He’s in critical but stable condition and he is expected to survive.
Rochester Police responded around 9:30 p.m. and found the city resident with an upper-body gunshot wound. An ambulance took him to Strong Hospital. RPD is still investigating and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
