Part of East Avenue in the city will close starting Wednesday morning

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — If you commute through Rochester’s East End, there’s a road closure you should know about. East Avenue from Main Street to Chestnut Street will close starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Crews are working to repair the road. The city hopes to reopen the road by Friday depending on the weather.
