Troopers investigating after finding body near dock at Honeoye Lake

ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — New York State police are investigating a possible drowning at Honeoye Lake Tuesday night.
They say it happened around 5:30 p.m., when NYSP in Canandaigua responded to the scene at County Route 36 in the Town of Richmond.
Troopers say after investigating, they learned an 80-year-old woman was found dead near a dock in Honeoye Lake. Officials say there were no signs of foul play.
The investigation is ongoing.
