All Monroe County school districts closed for eclipse day

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — All Monroe County schools are closed on Monday, April 8 for the total solar eclipse, which is coming after most schools were off from spring break.
The Brighton Central School District was the final school district to announce that it would close for the full day. Brighton said it would join other districts in closing to “allow for families to be together on this day, including our staff and their families.”
