#VaxtoSchool COVID-19 vaccine campaign re-launches in Finger Lakes

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — With the new school year approaching, the state of New York is re-launching the #VaxtoSchool campaign to encourage school-aged children to get the COVID-19 vaccine, according to an announcement made by Governor Hochul Wednesday.

Additionally, the state’s Instagram channel, VaccinateNY, helps educate school-aged New Yorkers and their families about the COVID-19 vaccine directly. The goal is to ensure all New Yorkers have the facts about the COVID-19 vaccine.

The #VaxtoSchool campaign, critical resources and materials for parents and guardians of school-aged children and schools are available at ny.gov/vaxtoschool. The site includes vaccine information and an FAQ.

All babies, toddlers, and children six months and older are eligible to get the shot.

Pop-up vaccination sites will be open around the state. Sites in the Finger Lakes region can be found below.
