Pet of the Week: Lucas

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — It’s time now for our Pet of the Week. Lucas is a 7-year-old cat with large eyes and a cute, black nose.

Lucas is a very nervous guy at the shelter and can’t wait to get a permanent home. Lucas has never lived with other animals, so we don’t know how he’d do with them. Lucas would do best in a calm environment.

He’d also appreciate cozy blanket-lined boxes to snuggle in, classical music to listen to (it has a calming effect), occasional cat treats (like tiny bits of tuna or a few pieces of Temptations), and soft-spoken people to talk to him and put his worries at ease. Lucas does have a heart condition and he will need to be monitored.
