UPDATE: Second of twin brothers accused of killing man in 2021 sentenced to prison

UPDATE: Donald Brown previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the 2021 killing, beating, stabbing, and shooting a man to death in Rochester.
On Tuesday, he was declared a persistent felony offender and sentenced to 19 years to Life with the NYS Department of Corrections.
UPDATE: On Wednesday, Ronald Brown was sentenced to 20 years in prison, plus five years of post release supervision. He pled guilty to manslaughter for the 2021 killing, beating, stabbing, and shooting a man to death in Rochester.
Donald Brown is going to trial on May 30.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— The two Rochester brothers accused of killing of beating, stabbing, and shooting a man to death near the RTS Transit Center last week faced a judge Tuesday morning.
Ronald and Donald Brown were both arraigned on charges of second-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Armani Allen. Investigators say the two killed Allen last Thursday outside of the center on Saint Paul Street.

Ronald was arrested without incident Sunday night by members of the United States Marshal’s Violent Felony Fugitive Task Force at a home near North Washington Street and West Linden Avenue in East Rochester. Police say Donald stayed in the basement for several hours, leading to a brief standoff before officers could execute a search warrant and arrest him.
Both men pleaded not guilty at their arraignment and are being held without bail.
Ronald is scheduled to be back in court on Wednesday for an assigned attorney appearance.
A preliminary hearing for both of them is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19.
