Doberman who just had litter of puppies ‘adopts’ kitten

GENESEO, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Geneseo woman is melting hearts on Facebook.

Brittany Callan’s Doberman, Ruby, who just had a litter has "adopted" a kitten as her own.

Callan says she thinks the kitten, who she’s named "Ramblin’ Rose", was about two or three days old when she found her and brought her home.

Ruby had her litter on Aug. 18, so Callan thought she would see if Ruby would accept the kitten.

Callan says she did right away. Ruby’s litter appears to get along with their adopted sister too.

Callan has even posted videos of "Ramblin’ Rose" where she appears to be nursing on Ruby.
