Milling, paving work to cause delays across the City of Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Milling and paving work will start Thursday across the City of Rochester.

The operations will take place at the following locations:

  • Driving Park Avenue (between the CSX railroad track overpass and Finch Street) will undergo milling operations.
  • Glide Street (between Buffalo Road and the railroad tracks) will undergo paving operations.
  • Child Street (between Lyell Avenue to I-490) will undergo paving operations.
  • Averill Avenue (between Mt. Hope Avenue and South Avenue) will undergo milling and paving operations through August 27.
  • Averill Avenue (between South Clinton Avenue and Broadway) will undergo milling and paving operations through August 27.
  • Tryon Park (between North Winton Road and I-590) will undergo milling and paving operations through August 27.

Drivers should expect delays and changes to the normal traffic pattern and access to driveways and property will be limited at times. No parking will be allowed within the work zone during daylight hours.
