Rochester Pride Parade parking and planning
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Rochester’s Pride Parade hits the streets of Rochester Saturday.
Here’s what you need to know if you plan on going. The parade starts at 1 p.m. and goes down Park Avenue, between Alexander & Brunswick streets. About 140 groups are expected to march.
Parking will be tight, so organizers recommend ride-sharing or parking on side streets. Parking in the city is free on weekends. There will also be parking available at the East End Garage, the Rochester Museum and Science Center, and Trillium Health.
Along with the parade, a pride festival will be held at Cobbs Hill Park from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are required. General admission is $5. Kids 12 and under are free.
