Miami Dolphins hand Buffalo Bills first loss of season: Week 3 Game Thread

Bills score TD on opening drive for 8th straight game
The Bills took the opening kickoff and drove it straight down the field for a touchdown, something the Buffalo offense has seemed to master.
Josh Allen went 6-for-6 for 70 yards on the drive, finding Devin Singletary on 4th & goal for the TD.
Greg Van Roten did have a miscue snapping the ball to Allen, as starting center Mitch Morse is out for the game.
Allen hit and fumbles on 3rd down, Dolphins take over on Bills’ goal line
On 3rd down, Miami brought pressure and Melvin Ingram got to Allen, forcing a fumble.
Chase Edmunds runs it in for the score, Dolphins and Bills tied at 7
On 3rd & goal from the 1-yard line, Dolphins RB Chase Edmunds ran it in for Miami’s first touchdown of the game.
Allen finds McKenzie as Bills retake the lead, 14-7
On Buffalo’s third drive, Allen led another long charge down the field, capping it off with a TD pass to Isaiah McKenzie.
The Bills did have some mishaps on the drive but made up for them along the way.
Allen is now already 15-of-17 for 150 yards and 2 TD passes with 11:59 still remaining in the first half.
The TD reception was McKenzie’s second of the year.
River Cracraft catches TD pass from Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins tie it back up at 14
The first Dolphins touchdown was set up off a turnover, but this one was all led by Tagovailoa, who connected with Jaylen Waddle multiple times and finished the drive with an 11-yard pass to River Cracraft.

Teddy Bridgewater replacing Tagovailoa after head injury
Matt Malino was flagged for rougher the passer and Tagovailoa exited the game after an apparent head injury.
Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater came into the game right with just over two minutes until halftime.

A drive that took nearly the whole quarter only ended in three points for the Bills.
Bass misses chip-shot from 38-yards
It was Tyler Bass’s first missed field goal of the season.

Edmunds scores second TD of game, Dolphins take lead 21-17
Chase Edmunds ran it in from 2-yards out to give Miami their first lead of the game.

Bills defense stops Dolphins, blocks punt for safety
The Buffalo defense stood up Miami and blocked the Dolphins punt, resulting in a safety.
Dolphins punter Thomas Morstead punted it into his own man. The Bills now need a field goal to win, trailing 21-19.
Bills lose, 21-19, can’t get off final play
The Bills tried to drive down the field to hit a game winning field goal but couldn’t get off a snap to stop the clock.
