Bills force 3 & out on first possession
New England had to punt on their first drive after a fumble on 3rd & short kept them from picking up a first down.
Buffalo moves chains a few times, take 3-0 lead
Josh Allen and the Bills moved down the field into Patriots territory, eventually resulting in a 48-yard field goal from Tyler Bass.
Allen passed for 48 yards on the drive.
Patriots take 7-3 lead on Marcus Jones TD
Marcus Jones, who scored the game-winning punt return TD in New England’s win over the New York Jets, raced his way into the endzone for a 48-yard TD score.
It was Jones’ first offensive play from scrimmage all season.
End of 1st quarter: Patriots – 7, Bills – 3
Allen finds Stefon Diggs in endzone to take 10-7 lead
On the first play of the 2nd quarter, Allen fired into the endzone from 8-yards out to Diggs.
It’s the 10th TD of the season for Diggs, tying his career-high for a season.
Pats punt it back after near safety
On 2nd & 11 from their own 8-yard line, the Patriots got called for an offensive holding and intentional grounding, putting them on the 1-yard line. Rhamondre Stevenson nearly ran for the first down, but New England was forced to punt.
Allen throws incredible TD to Davis, Bills take 17-7 lead
On 3rd down in the red zone, Allen was nearly pushed out of bounds before he completed a jump pass to Davis in the endzone.
The touchdown capped off a 14-play, 56-yard drive, giving the Bills a 10-point lead with 5:27 left in the half.
Patriots force punt (first against Bills in 3 games)
Both teams forced each other into punts, but the Patriots’ defense doing so had a bit more significance.
Allen fumbles, Patriots take over with just over a minute until halftime
Josh Uche stripped Allen of the ball, giving New England a chance to score before the end of the first half.
Nick Folk hits crossbar, misses FG from 48-yards out
Folk came up just short on the medium-range field goal attempt, keeping the score at 17-7 in favor of Buffalo.

Neither team scores in 3rd quarter
The closest either team got to a game-changing play was a near interception by Jordan Poyer that was ruled incomplete.
Other than that, each team punted once and the Bills ended the quarter in the midst of a long drive into the Patriots’ red zone.

Devin Singletary rushes in for TD, Bills take 24-7 lead
Singletary scored his 4th rushing TD in the past four games, giving Buffalo a 17-point lead.
The TD ended a 15-play, 94-yard drive for Buffalo, its second touchdown drive of at least 14 plays of the game.
Folk adds field goal, Bills lead 24-10
The Patriots added their first points since the first quarter as the Bills forced them to go for three. Folk was good from 39-yards out.
