NFL players rank Josh Allen #13 on best player list

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — NFL players have ranked Bills QB Josh Allen as the 13th best player in the league, in a list of top 100 players.

Only NFL players are allowed to vote on the list. Allen has turned into a mainstay on the list, ranking number 10 last year. This year, the 26-year-old slid a few spots despite a strong performance last season — leading the bills to the divisional round of the playoffs.

Allen’s 13th place ranking this year is only behind quarterbacks Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes. No matter where he’s ranked, Allen is committed to leading the Bills to victory this season. The first game of the season is September 19, Tennessee Titans at Bills stadium.

“Nothing carries over. Every team that we play at the start of the season is 0-0,” Allen said. “Everybody’s got the same hopes of winning the Super Bowl. It’s just our job to come out here, be the best versions of ourselves, practice hard, try to get better, and go 1-0 each week.

“That’s our mindset is take it week by week and obviously we know who we’ve got opening night Thursday night in LA against the Super Bowl Champs. We know our backs are against the wall in that aspect as we just gotta put our best foot forward.”

Tom Brady ranked #1 on the top NFL players list this year, the 4th time since the list first came out in 2011.
